GOOD TECH Relay is an experimental emergency community communication layer being researched for blackouts, natural disasters, remote areas, overloaded networks and other connectivity failures.
The research asks whether short, private and essential community check-ins could remain available through a future resilient system and optional GOOD TECH Beacon device.

GOOD TECH Relay and GOOD TECH Beacon are research concepts. They do not currently provide off-grid communication and must not replace 911, official alerts, satellite communication or public-safety systems.
